The current research aims to analyze the content of the sciencebook for the first intermediate grade in the light of the skills of knowledge economy.
the researchers adopted the descriptive analytical approach, as the research community and sampled it from the science book for the first intermediate grade approved by the Iraqi ministry of education for the academic year 2020/2021.
the researchers prepared a list of criteria for the knowledge economy that included (7) main areas, namely : knowledge, technology, communication, mental development, social and economic, and evaluation), branched from them (69) indicators, which represented the skills of knowledge economy .its validity was verified by presenting it to a group of arbitrators , then the researchers analyzed the book in its light, adopting the explicit and implicit idea as a unit for recording , and repetition as a unit for enumeration .the validity of the analysis was confirmed by presenting it to a number of content analysis specialists.
stability was also confirmed by agreement over time and stability by individuals from external analysts.
the results came with the inclusion of the science book (6155) iterations, distributed in varying degrees among the seven fields , and they were compared with the reported percentages determined by experts in the educational field.
the (holisti equation, frequencies and percentages) were used as statistical means to show the results.
