This article raises a fundamental issue related to work time and its significance and concepts which embody organizational practices carried out by the human resource in managing his work time.

this is based on the main theoretical approaches as well as the previous studies related to the rational management mechanisms of this element.

it also reveals the wasters which limit the ability to effectively control time.

all this aims at of creating awareness of the value of time and improving the performance and effectiveness of the contemporary organization.
