Abstract EN

In this study I dealt with the mortmains of the two holy mosques in Algeria during the Ottoman period.

I concentrated my effort on the analysis of the content of documentary studies dealing with the mortmains of the two holy mosques.

these studies have important questions which I have made the main axes of this articl, the research aims to highlight size and characteristics of these mortmains, how they were obtained in Algeria, and how they were distributed and spent it in Hijaz, given the complexity of the problem, I involved in the research the various branches of the historical method, which gave a set of results which revolve around the positive roles of these mortmains, especially the consecration of the political, social and religious communication which deepened the bonds of solidarity and strengthened the bonds of communication between the Algerians and their brothers in the two holy mosques.
