Abstract EN

This study deals with the subject of employing the art of drawing in the contemporary Algerian novelist discourse, as the latter opened up due to experimentation and technological development on several linguistic and non-linguistic arts, the most important of which is the art of drawing.

Indeed, the Algerian novels borrowed various techniques and methods of the art of painting and improved their representation.

In this research, we focussed on the artistic and aesthetic function that the art of painting added to the architecture of the Algerian novels, and its structural and semantic dimensions.
