Global trade is witnessing rapid growth, and one of the manifestations of this growth is the increase in the movement of trade, and the consequent flow of goods at border crossings, which calls for control over goods to confront the crime of counterfeiting, and what this requires of taking border measures entrusted to the Customs Administration as the first channel to combat counterfeiting.

And by following the legal texts contained in international agreements, or in internal legislation, the role of the customs administration in providing this protection is highlighted.
