Abstract EN

The concept of satisfaction with basic psychological needs is one of the modern concepts and that basic psychological needs are psychological and innate nutrients necessary for the adaptation, safety and growth of individuals, and that their satisfaction is necessary for the well-being of individuals, and that individuals who have satisfaction with basic psychological needs have intrinsic motivations and integrate often into activities that they find enjoyable and enjoyable.

and since middle school students are the nerve and foundation of society, the present study aimed to identify satisfaction with basic psychological needs and its relationship with suicidal thinking among middle school students in the holy Karbala governorate according to the variable (gender, stage, and presence of parents) in order to achieve the objectives of the current research, the researcher adopted the measure of satisfaction with basic psychological needs (Deci & Ryan), (2000) consisting of (21) paragraphs distributed into three areas after verifying the validity of the translation, the truthfulness and the stability of the scale, and the size of the final research sample reached (449).
