The aim of the research is to monitor the percentage of deduction skill available in the science book for the fifth grade.

it is one of the types of critical thinking the research community is represented by the content of the science book for the fifth grade, which was approved by the ministry of education for the academic year (2019-2020), the fourth edition; the introduction of the book included six units, with two chapters per unit, amounting to the total number of pages of the book (228) pages, and the study sample included (119) pages after excluding the introductions of each unit and the questions of the chapters.

the researcher reviewed a set of literature related to his skill of deduction, and data and information were collected and interpreted about the content of the science book for the fifth grade.

a questionnaire was built to measure the percentage of inference skill, which is one of the types of critical thinking skills, and to measure indicators or sub-deduction skills.

as a research tool to analyze the content of the fifth grade science textbook the research tool was presented to a group of expert referees and specialists in the field of teaching methods, curricula and statistics, with a total of 20 experts to find the validity of the analysis to find stability analysis were analyzed (20%) of the science book for fifth grade primary content, which included four pages of each of the units six in the book dated 14/02/2021 ad, the first analysis of the skill of the conclusion and then conducted a researcher second analysis of the skill conclusion on 1 3/3/2021 ad and the constant analysis ratio was calculated by using the holistic equation to process the research data, the researcher used (frequencies, percentages, and holste equation), and the content of the science book for the fifth primary grade was analyzed in full, which reached 221 number of entries results of the research: organize the content and ideas and classify them in various fields by (41.62%) ; the student’s content of reaching specific conclusions at a rate of (19.45%) ;; the content provides a judgment on the validity of the conclusion by (14.02%) ;; the content is regulated by the students' previous experiences to reach conclusions with a rate of (12.66%); the science content provides information and knowledge from the private to the public at a rate (12.21%) the researcher referred to the conclusions, recommendations and proposals of the research.
