Abstract EN

This research casts light on the revolution of July 14, 1958 in the opinions of its contemporaries and critics, that is, from the point of view of the participants in the events in which they contributed, lived and wrote about it.

It is an attempt by them to record their opinions, clarifications and interpretations of what happened, trying to reveal its secrets, especially with regard to the beginning of the Free Officers’ organization, the reasons that led to the revolution, the goals of the organization and the number of participants in it, and an attempt to find out whether the royal authority is aware of the revolution and whether there is any interference from external powers such as Britain and the United States of America?Then, this research attempts to find out if the army and members of the organization had a role in the killing of the royal family, and it was found through the results that there is an effect of the affiliations that belonged to the military and politicians and it clearly appeared in their memoirs, which made it somewhat not seem objective.
