Abstract EN

Our study aims to try to understand the problem of illegal immigration (we do not refer to immigration in conflict with sharia and religion) or clandestine immigration, and its impact on security in the western Mediterranean, based on the inductive-analytical approach.

extrapolate the political reality and study it in the light of the sources and the role of the State in the fight against this phenomenon due to its effects (negative) on the economy and security in particular.

the inductive results show that migration is one of the most important security issues, especially in regions of the world that are experiencing some level of economic, social and political progress and prosperity, including migration in the Euro-Maghreb whose object would have gone beyond the economic need to the security threat.

the pseudo-monopoly of the State in the management of the immigration file would prevent effective opportunities for security threats.
