يعتبر موضوع التوعية والتثقيف الصحي من المواضيع التي أصبحت تشغل اهتمام الباحثين والمختصين في علوم الإعلام والاتصال من خلال نشر التوعية والتثقيف الصحي عبر مختلف وسائلها وحملاتها وتكنولوجياتها، وذلك بسبب ظهور وانتشار العديد من الأمراض الناتجة عن سلوكات الأفراد غير الصحية نتيجة ضعف ثقافتهم وتربيتهم الصحية.
وتهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى توضيح أهمية وسائل الإعلام والاتصال وتكنولوجياته: من إذاعة وتلفزيون وصحافة مكتوبة ومواقع عبر الأنترنيت وحملات الاتصال الاجتماعي عبر مختلف الوسائل في التوعية والتثقيف الصحي من خلال مختلف البرامج التحسيسية والتوعوية، من أجل إكساب الأفراد ثقافة صحية تمكنهم من المحافظة على صحتهم وتزويدهم بالمفاهيم والمهارات التي تساهم في تحسين صحتهم ووقايتهم من مختلف الأمراض وإكسابهم السلوك الصحي السليم وكيفية التعامل مع مختلف المخاطر الصحية التي قد يتعرضون لها وكيفية الوقاية منها أو الحد من تفاقمها.

Awareness and health education are topics that have become of interest to researchers in the science of communication through various means, campaigns and technologies, due to the emergence and spread of many diseases caused by unhealthy behaviors of individuals as a result of their poor health culture.
this research paper aims to clarify the importance of media, websites and social media campaigns through various awareness programs, in order to give individuals a healthy culture that enables them to maintain their health and provide them with concepts and skills that contribute to improving their health and protecting them from various diseases., give them proper health behavior to deal with the various health risks they may be exposed to.
