التوزيع الجغرافي للخدمات الأمنية و الجريمة في محافظة إب خلال الفترة (2010-2019 م)‎

Abstract EN

This paper aims to find out the geographical distribution of the security services and crimes in Ibb province during (2010-2019), then it also aims to find out how that distribution of the security services matches with the population standard and the architectural planning.

Further, it aims to find out the variance of time and place for the crimes during (2010- 2019).

Accordingly, for achieving these aims, the descriptive and analytical approach is used.

Also, the Geographical Information System is used for analyzing the data and information obtained from the general management of the police in Ibb province, and also from the Central Institute of Statistics, the National Information Center, Architectural Area Office and the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation.

Among the most important results which the research reached is that the management of Alzehar police station witnessed an increase in the number of crimes, as the total number of registered crimes in this station is about (3611) crimes with the percentage of (18.36%) from the total number of crimes which is (19665) crimes in all the districts of Ibb province during (2010-2019).

Also, the distribution of the security services in Ibb province is weak compared to the volume and random distribution of the population according to the general density average of the security services which reaches to (1,3 services /100) thousand person.
