Abstract EN

The study aims to prepare a proposed program on the quality of the fashion industry for fashion design and textile undergraduate students and measure the effectiveness of the suggested training unit in the achievement and development of the quality control skills of the operation stages.

the study followed the one-group experimental approach, which requires a pretest of information and skills and then a post-test.

the research sample (128) included seventh-level students in the department of fashion and textile design, college of design and arts, princess Nourabint Abdul Rahman university.

the research tools included an arbitration form for the achievement test (cognitive), and the skillful test "applied.

" the study results revealed the first hypothesis on the effectiveness of the training unit in the achievement and development of quality control skills of operational stages.

the statistical analysis reveals that the adjusted earnings ratio is equal to (1.58), a value that falls within the range set by black between the two values (1.2-2).

therefore this ratio indicates a higher degree of female students after studying the program, indicating the effectiveness of the proposed program.

the second hypothesis: the achievement test about the students' achievement of knowledge reveals that there are statistically significant differences between the average degrees of female students in the achievement pretest and post-test at the level (0.01) in favor of the posttest, which indicates success in using the experimental unit in raising the level of cognitive achievement of female students.

the third hypothesis: the skilled test of the achievement of female students skills shows that there are statistical differences in the average degrees of female students in the skill performance in the pretest and post-test in favor of the post-test at the level (0.01), which indicates the success of the effectiveness of the training program in raising the skills of students.

the study mainly recommends to benefit from the proposed program in teaching the fashion industry course-to take advantage of the results of the current research and try to apply in the programs design and production of other aspects of courses and materials serving the fashion industry-encourage and train the teaching staff and their collaborators on preparing training programs in different fields.
