Abstract EN

This research paper studies a linguistics issue which has various linguistic manifestation namely the phenomenon of the metathesis.

The author studied this topic and supported it with examples and facts related to the Arabic language.

The author divided the topic into three sections.

The first section deals with structure of the sentence and what follows as semantic traces.

The second section deals with morphological aspects related to metaphesis which would be thoroughly explained and discussed.

The third section deals with the rhetoric aspect and the language of poetry within the framework of metathesis and role of poet and his liquidistic abilities to handle the poetic text.
