Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the role of the Saudi digital library in supporting the scientific research process to serve the educational process by developing skills for scientific research among graduate students in the college of arts at king Saud university.

the study concluded with a number of important results, most notably : graduate students in the college of arts at king Saud university use the Saudi digital library to a large extent, in addition to a very large degree of approval among the study sample members towards the effectiveness of the proposed mechanisms for developing the Saudi digital library to meet the needs of scientific research, i also found a great degree of satisfaction a very large degree of agreement among the study sample members towards the effectiveness of the proposed mechanisms for developing the Saudi digital library to meet the needs of scientific research, and a very large degree of satisfaction was found among the study sample members towards the role of the Saudi digital library in developing scientific research skills.

the researcher came up with several recommendations based on these results, the most important of which are: working to provide full texts for studies and research in the Saudi digital library, in addition to providing a translation service for English texts to serve scientific research within the library, and participating with all international and local libraries and databases to make the research more widely available.
