His study aimed to identify the reality of the digital reference service in the king Salman central library from the point of view of graduate students at the college of arts at king Saud university.

the study reached a set of results, the most important of which is that 65.6% of the total female graduate students at the college of arts use the digital reference service in the king Salman central library, and they are the most popular category.

and 34.4% of the total do not use the digital reference service in the king Salman central library.

the library's failure to specify the response time is the reason that reduces the use of the digital reference service for postgraduate students at the college of arts.

the book and reference service was the most requested service through the digital reference service.

ask the librarian was the preferred method for postgraduate students at the college of arts.

the time spent on answering their inquiries was only one day, and they are the most it also showed the satisfaction of the postgraduate students in the faculty of arts with the digital reference service provided to them.

beneficiaries' inquiries.

the beneficiary's time must be respected as much as possibledevelop a clear policy to provide the digital reference service and announce this policy to the beneficiaries through the library and its website, provide postgraduate students with brochures and introductory courses explaining how to benefit from the digital reference service.

pay attention to marketing and advertising the digital reference services provided through the library’s website or social networking sites.

the digital reference service synchronously through direct dialogue software.

providing references electronically with their full texts via the library’s website, especially university theses.
