Abstract EN

The current research aims to identify : the effect of pantomime acting in reducing anger among kindergarten children.

this aim is achieved by testing the following hypotheses: there is no statistically significant difference between the grades of the experimental and control groups in anger after applying the mime program in the post-test.

the research sample consisted of (20) boys and girls aged (5-6) years (preliminary stage) in the (al-Muqdam) kindergarten in the second Rusafa education directorate/ baghdad, the children of the sample was divided into two groups, the experimental and the control, equally.

the experimental group included (10) children (5) males and (5) females, and the control group (10) children (5) males and (5) females.

the researcher equaled between the individuals of the experimental and control groups in the variables (pretest, age, academic achievement of the father, academic achievement of the mother, the profession of the father, the profession of the mother, the birth order of the child).

in order to achieve the aims of the research, the researcher built a mime program to reduce anger in kindergarten children, consisting of (11) silent plays, the researcher used the experimental design with two experimental and control groups with pre and posttest.

the results were extracted using some appropriate statistical means for the current research with the invariance extracted in two methods.

the first one is a re-test of (0.95), and the second method is alpha Cronbach, which is (0.97).

the children of the experimental group excelled in the post measure compared to the pre measure after applying the pantomime program based on feedback.
