Abstract EN

The research aims to know the impact of the snowball strategy on the achievement of middle school students in mathematics and their mathematical thinking.

the second and third of the mathematics textbook, where the researcher chose two divisions in a random drawing method, the two research groups were then rewarded in the variables (previous achievement, IQ test scores, chronological age calculated in months).

the researcher formulated two tests, one for achievement consisting of (25) questions, using bloom levels, and the other for mathematical thinking, consisting of (20) questions, whose validity and reliability were verified, and the difficulty factor, discriminatory power, and the effectiveness of the wrong alternatives for the two tests were checked.

the results indicated a significant difference.
