Abstract EN

The research aims to know the effect of the interactive video on cognitive development in the subject of teaching methods for students of colleges of education, where the research community consisted of four universities (Baghdad, Mustansiriya, al-Iraqiya, Diyala), where its students reached (110) students of colleges of education, and the sample was chosen by (83%) of the population, the research sample was (91) distributed (46) experimental, and (45) control.

the research tool was the cognitive development test consisting of (30) items of the type of multiple choice, and after making sure of its validity and stability, it was applying it to the research sample and processing the data statistically, the results showed that the experimental group was superior to the control group, and this indicates the effectiveness of the educational video in the cognitive development of the research sample.
