Abstract EN

The current research aimed to improve social interaction among autism children.

Research sample consisted of (8) Children with autism (4 boys, 4 girls), whose ages ranged between (6-12) years and their IQ ranged between (50-75) degree according to Stanford- Binet Scale, fifth edition (Revised Version) (Abd-al Samie, 2017), Children with autism who had mild disorder on the Autism Rating Scale (Abd-al Samie, 2014), and who got the lowest score on Gilliam Social Interaction Scale for Autism Spectrum Disorder- 3rd Edition (Arafa, 2021), at Kayen Center in Aga City, Dakahlia Governorate.

The research tools are: Stanford- Binet Scale, fifth edition (Revised Version), and Autism Rating Scale, and Social Interaction Scale, and a program based on Lego Therapy for improving social interaction (prepared by the researcher).

Results of the research revealed statistically significant differences between the mean ranks of the scores of the experimental group and the control group in the post- test on the Social Interaction Scale in favor of the experimental group.

There were statistically significant differences between the mean ranks of the scores of the experimental group in the pre and posttest on Social Interaction Scale in favor of the posttest and there were no statistically significant differences between the mean ranks of the scores of the experimental group in the post and follow - up tests on the Social Interaction Scale.

These results also showed high effect size of the Lego Therapy in improving Social Interaction in the experimental group.
