The study aimed to investigate the impact of distance learning in light of the coronavirus (covid-19) pandemic on the process of academic integration among students at the university of Jordan.

the study relied on the approach (descriptive and analytical), through the use of the (electronic) questionnaire survey method, which is one of the most appropriate research methods in light of the corona pandemic.

the population of the study consisted of all students of the university of Jordan registered in the second semester of the year (2021 ad).

the study sample consisted of (643) male and female students, and the study sample was chosen randomly.

the two researchers designed and built a questionnaire to measure the study variables, and it was based on literature, theory and previous studies, which indicate that the most important dimensions of academic integration depend on three main dimensions (the cognitive dimension, the behavioral dimension, and the emotional dimension), and in light of these dimensions paragraphs were designed each dimension is consistent with the nature of the dimension and at the same time it is linked with the axis (distance learning), and the questionnaire was formed in its final form on an axis for personal variables and was of (gender, specialization, academic year), and the scale was on (33) paragraphs at a rate of (11 a paragraph for each dimension of academic integration linked to distance learning.

Likert scale with five-point scale was used in the construction of the study tool.

the statistical methods used in the study included: frequencies and percentages, arithmetic averages, standard deviations, Pearson coefficient matrix, and Cronbach alpha.

the results of the study indicated that the effect of distance learning in light of the corona pandemic (covid-19) on the process of academic integration among students at the university of Jordan was (low), as the students did not form any academic harmony and adaptation processes with the distance learning experience, due to not preparing students in advance to use technology related to distance learning and the behavioral, cognitive and emotional skills it contains.

the results of the study also indicate that there are no statistically significant differences in the impact of distance learning in light of the corona pandemic (covid-19) on the process of academic integration among students at the university of Jordan due to a variable : (gender, specialization, academic year).

the most important recommendations of the study indicated that measures should be taken to improve and raise the academic climate in the distance learning process, as this ensures the achievement of academic integration of students, which raises the level of their academic achievement.
