The research deals with one of the methods of the Arabic language, it is : the general, which is intended to be specific, and it was mentioned in the holy Qur’an, and in the honorable Sunnah of the Prophet, and it was spoken by the Arabs, and people use it in their life in general, and it has an impact on the legal text, to establish a sound ruling, and warding off what is the apparent contradiction of the texts.

the general differs from the specific in several ways, the most important of which are : its need for the will of the speaker and a presumption, as it is from a metaphor, and its apparent meaning isn't taken as an argument.
