Abstract EN

The research aims to identify the ruling on forcing a woman’s guardian to marry the study relied on the inductive method.

the study reached several results, the most important of which are : 1-it is not permissible for a guardian to force a sane, adult, virgin, woman to marry without her permission.

2-if a woman loses her virginity by fornication, jumping, and blasphemy, then the ruling on her is the ruling of a virgin regarding the permissibility of coercion or not.

3-the guardian may force the insane woman to marry, whether she is a virgin or a young woman.

based on these results, the researcher recommended the necessity of : 1-working to raise awareness among families about the negative aspects of forced marriage by holding programs and seminars and ensuring that they reach all segments of society.

2-establishing deterrent laws for all parties involved in the completion of this marriage, from imprisonment to a financial fine, as is applied in some countries.
