Abstract EN

The current research aims to identify the level of cognitive perception anxiety and its relationship to academic procrastination among university students, as the researcher adopted, in their research steps, on the relational descriptive method, and selected the sample in the stratified random method of (150) individuals (65) for males and (85) for females and for each of the specializations.

General sciences and the Arabic language in the College of Basic Education - Haditha, and in order to achieve the research objectives, the researcher adopted the scale (Aiez and Ali 2013) for the cognitive perception anxiety variable and the (Abu Ghazal 2012) scale for the academic procrastination variable after the validity and consistency of both scales were extracted, and by using the SPSS Statistical Package for Social Sciences.

The results showed the following: 1.

That university students do have cognitive perception anxiety.

2- There were no statistically significant differences in cognitive perception anxiety according to the variables of sex, specialization, and bilateral interactions.

-3University students do have academic procrastination.

4- There are no statistically significant differences in academic procrastination according to the variables of sex, specialization, and bilateral interactions.

5- As for the correlation between the two variables, it was statistically significant a positive.
