Abstract EN

The present study aimed to identify the Developing the performance of the Specialized Institute for Professional Training for Teachers in the Sultanate of Oman in light of the Professional Teachers Academy in Egypt and the Queen Rania Teacher Training Academy in Jordan, The study used the descriptive method, In addition to the Scenario method, and the analysis of documents was used in collecting data and information.

The results of the study reached the Building of three scenarios, the first is the reference, which includes the continuation of the current situation with its positives and challenges, and the second is the Developmental scenario that includes the transformation of the Specialized Institute for Professional Training for Teachers into a professional academy for teachers and its assumption of the licensing system to practice the teaching profession in the Sultanate, And the expansion of local trends for the institute to assume responsibility for scientific research and innovation.

And regional trends, such as building Arab partnerships with the parties interested in the professional development of members of the Education Authority, and international trends such as accreditation of the Institute by international accreditation Authority, and the third is the innovative scenario that includes converting the institute's strategic programs into Specialized diplomas in partnership with local and international educational and training institutions
