The study aimed to reveal the expressive and symbolic connotations of Logos symbolism, color and type in the slogans of the anniversary of the independence of Sudan, and the study followed the descriptive analytical approach as the appropriate approach to achieve the objectives of the study, through which an intentional sample consisting of five slogans designed on the occasion of the anniversary of Sudan's independence was analyzed.

The period from 2017 to 2021, and after analyzing the slogans for the anniversary of Sudan's independence, and the study reached a number of results, the most important of which was that all the logos subject of the study were designed and officially commissioned by the designer, the artist Ishaq Abdel Ghafour, with the exception of the slogans of the 64th and 65th anniversary of independence, which were designed as a joint work between him and Artist Salma Hassan, the thing that led to the participation of logos during the last five years in the semiotics of symbol, color and text, and the results also showed that the logos were characterized by the adoption of the expressive energies transmitted by symbols, colors, and their symbolic and intellectual connotations.

The study also revealed that symbol, color and text have expressive connotations that were formulated through what It touches the Sudanese sentiment, and the emergence of a clear development in the techniques of implementing the idea during the last five years, as shown by the results The adoption of all logos on the flag of Sudan as a basic element and symbol of the logo, The study recommended a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: Presenting the logos of national occasions as a public competition in which Sudanese graphic designers and artists compete according to clear and predetermined conditions, and forming neutral committees of specialized plastic artists to formulate the terms of the artistic competition and arbitration of works, and Sudan being a multicultural country and its faculties of symbols And the signs and colors, the study also recommended that it is necessity of leaving the mantle of Sudan flag.
