تتناول الدراسة تجربة الصحافة العربية بجنوب السودان، خلال ما يقرب من عشرة أعوام (يناير/كانون الثاني 2011- يوليو/تموز 2020) التي تلت مرحلة ما بعد استقلال البلاد عن دولة السودان، في استفتاء شعبي، عام 2011.
وتهدف الدراسة إلى التعرف على بدايات الصحافة العربية بجنوب السودان قبل وبعد الاستقلال، وتحديد بنيتها ووظائفها والتحديات التي تواجه تطورها.
كما تقترح أفكارا لتطوير صناعة الصحافة العربية في البلاد.
Abstract EN
This study looks into the experience of the Arabic press in South Sudan from January 2011 to July 2020, which is the period that followed the country’s independence from Sudan in a popular referendum in 2011.
The study explores the beginning, structure and functions of Arabic press before and after the independence of South Sudan as well as the challenges facing its development.
It also presents ideas for the development of Arabic press in the country.
