تتتبع الدراسة مراحل انتقال الدبلوماسية من الأشكال التقليدية إلى الرقمية في ظل عصر رقمي وكون افتراضي شبكي ضمن مقاربات لنماذج الاتصال وإسقاطه، على الدبلوماسية الرقمية.
وتبرز الدراسة أيضا تأثيرات فيسبوك وتويتر على بنى وهياكل العلاقات الدولية.
وتكشف خصوصية توظيف هذا النوع من الدبلوماسية الجديدة وتحدياته، وحيرة الاختيار بين إكراهات أجهزة "الآيباد" والمألوف من أوراق الاعتماد.
Abstract EN
This study aims to follow the transition of diplomacy from traditional forms to digital in a digital age, in a complex virtual universe within approaches of communication models, and its projection to digital diplomacy.The effects of Facebook and Twitter on the structures of international relations.
The conclusion includes the advantages and challenges of employing this kind of new diplomacy, and the confusing choice between iPads or letter of credence.
