Abstract EN

Due to outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, Saudi schools has forced to embrace distance learning using technology solutions, Madrasati learning management systems (MLMS), to ensure the continuity of education.

In this case, Microsoft Teams is one of the tools of Madrasati where teachers meet their students virtually.

This current study aimed to finding out teachers’ perception about Microsoft Teams as a tool to deliver online lessons.

The sample in the study consisted of 325 teachers, female and male, who were randomly selected.

In order to collect data, an e-questionnaire was used.

Results showed that teachers’ Perception of effectiveness of Microsoft Teams for assignment and grading was (very good), for teacher and student interaction was (very good), for classroom organization was (very good), and for overcome challenges was (very good).

The study concluded that Microsoft Teams was an effective tool for assignment and grading, teacher and student interaction, classroom organization, and for overcome challenges.

The study encourages wider adoption of Microsoft Teams application by all schools in Saudi Arabia.
