Abstract EN

The current study aimed to determine the services provided to students with learning disabilities enrolled in Saudi universities from the perspective of faculty members and specialists, limited to administrative, academic, psychological, and social services.

The study followed the qualitative approach, interview was used to collect data, and the study participants were (four) faculty members, and (three) specialists in centers for individuals with disabilities in Saudi universities, the results showed that all participants in the interview agreed that administrative and academic services provided to students with learning disabilities in Saudi universities were limited and not provided compared to other special education ccategories in University stage and confirmed the lack of good planning in advance to provide these administrative and academic services.

The results also showed that many challenges: Challenges related to providing services, challenges related to students with learning disabilities, and finally challenges related to service centers for students with disabilities.

The researcher through her results provided a set of recommendations as follows: The cooperation between special education departments and centers for individuals with disabilities affiliated with Saudi universities, an increase in the number of specialists in the field of (special education) who work in centers for individuals with disabilities affiliated with Saudi universities, and prompt the role of community partnerships between Saudi universities and private sectors that interested in training and rehabilitating individuals with disabilities
