English Abstract
A mobile agent is a set of computer software and data that can autonomously transfer from one computer to another and begin its execution on the new computer, it’s a mobile code/object that travels through a network of connected nodes by itself.
Many requirements should be considered after the development of any program or platform, most important requirement is security, hence it should be kept in mind that hackers or anonymous persons always step ahead and inventing new techniques to penetrate systems, Cybersecurity played a major and significant role in the information technology revolution through past years until now, This work proposing an approach targeting AGLETS as a mobile agent system, However combining two well-known techniques PGP (Pretty Good Protocol) and Code Obfuscation which have been abbreviated later as (PGF) to enhance the security in AGLETS.
This was achieved by adding extra layers of security during the period of agent creation, Also, while transmitting the agent over the network, PGP, and Code Obfuscation was adopted based on their reputation as solid defense shields against various attacks.
Finally, the results are validated by running the PGF approach and tested the encryption and decryption process.
Furthermore, the results are evaluated based on the efficiency compared with other competitive techniques.
The efficiency is a crucial element to be considered in the evaluation process since the PGF approach handlesthe time efficiently referring to specific properties in its mechanism such as optimization and compression in addition to the speed enhancement in the symmetric cryptography part in the PGP.
