Abstract EN

The research aims to identify pain sensitivity at arthritis according to the gender variable (male-female).

In order achieve aims the current study, the researcher used measure,pain sensitivity included (14) items, the research check the Psychometric properties such as validity and reliability for both scale.

The scale then applied to sample of (550), patients , (281) patients (269) female patients with arthritis in the In hospitals ( Neurosciences, Ghazi Hariri, Rehabilitation Center, Ibn Al-Qaf ) for the year (2021).

After processing the data, depending on the appropriate statistical methods through the statistical package (SPSS).

The search results showed: The research sample have pain sensitivity, There is a difference in thepain sensitivity,according to the gender variable and in favor of females.

In light of the indicated results, a number of recommendations and proposals were made for subsequent researches
