Arabic Abstract

هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى درجة ممارسة الكليات الأمنية الفلسطينية لتعزيز الانضباط لدى طلابها من وجهة نظرهم، و الكشف عما إذا كان هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات تقدير أفراد عينة الدراسة لدرجة ممارسة الكليات الأمنية الفلسطينية لتعزيز الانضباط لدى طلابها تعزى لمتغيرات الدراسة الكلية نوع الدراسة، المعدل التراكمي)، و كذلك التعرف إلى السيل المقترحة لتفعيل دور الكليات الأمنية الفلسطينية في تعزيز الانضباط لدى طلابها، و لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة اعتمد الباحث المنهج الوصفي، و استخدم الاستبادة و المجموعة البؤرية ، كأدوات لجمع البيانات ، حيث تم توزيع الاستبانة على عينة مكونة من (254) طالباً، بالإضافة إلى تنفيذ المجموعة بؤرية بهدف الحصول على السبل المقترحة لتعزيز دور الكليات الأمنية الفلسطينية في تعزيز الانضباط لدى طلابها، ولمعالجة البيانات الإحصائية تم استخدام برنامج الرزم الإحصائية .SPSS و بعد تحليل نتائج الدراسة و تفسيرها، توصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية : 1- أن درجة ممارسة الكليات الأمنية الفلسطينية لدورها في تعزيز الانضباط لدى طلابها من وجهة نظرهم، جاءت بدرجة كبيرة، ووزن نسبي (74.75%).

2- توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة ( 0.05 >0)

English Abstract

This study aimsed to identify the degree to which Palestinian security colleges practiced enhancing discipline among their students from their point of view.

The study also seeks to reveal whether there are statistically significant differences between the study sample’s average estimates of the degrees of Palestinian security colleges’ practice of enhancing discipline among their students due to the study variables (college, type of study, Grade Point Average GPA), as well as identifying the proposed ways to activate the role of Palestinian security colleges in promoting discipline among their students.

In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher adopted the descriptive approach, and used the questionnaire and the focus group as data collection tools.

The questionnaire was distributed to sample consisting of (254) students, in addition to conducting a focus group with the aim of determining the proposed means to enhance the role of Palestinian security colleges in strengthening discipline among their students.

To analyze the statistical data, the SPSS statistical packages program was used.

After analyzing and interpreting the results of the study, the study reached the following results: 1- The degree of Palestinian security colleges’ practice of their role in enhancing discipline among their students, from their point of view, reached a high degree, with a relative weight (74.75%).

2- There were statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) between the average estimates of the study sample’s degrees of security colleges’ practice of their role in enhancing discipline among their students due to the study variables (college, type of study, GPA).

Based on the previous results, the researcher made several recommendations, the most important of which are the following : 1- The necessity of the participation of all educational forces and institutions in teaching young people the values of discipline from the beginning of their educational foundation, and that a large part of the educational curriculum should be based on planting such core values.

2- The Ministry of Education should closely monitor the curricula and academic plans of security colleges, and should make them comprehensive educational plans based on promoting disciplinary behaviors, belonging, and security values.
