Abstract EN

The study sought to investigate the opinions of parents to know their perceived expectations of children with language disorders in Bethlehem, using descriptive analysis.

the researchers conducted a survey questionnaire for a sample of (135) children with language disorders in Bethlehem, who were chosen in a simple random way.

through the results of the study, it was found that the parents' perceived expectations of children with language disorders in Bethlehem were high, and the average degree of expectations of the study sample members of the perceived parents of children with language disorders was different in Bethlehem according to variables : gender in favor of females, marital status in favor of (married), family monthly income in favor of those who have a monthly income of more than (6000) shekels, educational in favor of those with a higher basic education level, gender of the child in favor of the male child, and the age of the child for those aged between 9-11.

it also found that the average scores of the study sample members of the perceived parental expectations of children with language disorders in Bethlehem vary according to the number of family members, the order of birth of the child, and the type of disorder he has.

the study recommended a set of recommendations that emerged from its results.
