Abstract EN

This article aims to study the collective jurisprudential restrictions in imam al-Kassani’s book “Badai' al-Sanai' ” as the science of jurisprudential disciplines deals with one of the most important authors of Islamic jurisprudence, whose book “Bada'i Alsana'i fi Tartib Alshara'i” is one of the most important books related to the Hanafi school.

the current study is distinguished as a modest contribution to the field of jurisprudential restrictions in “Baab Alibadah”, especially in the chapter on prayer.

the study employs the inductive and analytical approach, through deducting the jurisprudential restrictions extracted from the book in question, discussing them and linking them to what was mentioned in the book under the study as well as what was mentioned in other schools of jurisprudence.

the study concludes with a number of findings, the most important of which are: the importance of the book of Bada’i and its jurisprudential restrictions in all branches of jurisprudence, especially prayer, which facilitates its study and benefits from it in the calamities and issues of the era and its jurisprudential problems.

in the chapter on prayer, for example, al-Kasani has sixteen restrictions, including: when the origin becomes established, the follower becomes established, too, by establishing the principle, etc.
