Abstract EN

The research includes a brief introduction about Al-Taher bin Ashour, and I will also mention -briefly- the introduction to his interpretation of The Liberation and The Enlightenment, and I will also explain the importance of directing the sayings of the interpreters, as it is considered one of the great sciences related to the Book of Allah, and the deduction of its rulings depends on understanding the evidence of the sayings and directing them in the correct direction.

In addition, mastering the skill of guidance assists the interpreter to correctly interpret meanings, criticize the statements of the interpreters, understand many of their arguments, explain the reasons behind exegetical statements, and to know the reasons for the differences between them as almost none of the issues regarding disagreement in the interpretation is devoid of the need to direct some of the sayings in them, and to know the reasons behind them which will provide a very important database for workers in the field of interpretation, and enrich the Islamic library with more research specific to the contemplation of the Qur’an.

The research will also show the distinction of Ibn Ashour in directing the sayings of the interpreters, as all his directives are based on correct documents, whether in the language, the Sunnah, readings or others, which indicates his ability to interpret meanings.

The research also showed the large number of resources that Ibn Ashour referred to when directing sayings, whether they were Shariaa resources or linguistic resources, which indicates the abundance of Ibn Ashour’s knowledge, and scholars have testified that he was well-established in interpretation, as the research explained the meaning of guidance in language and terminology, and the meaning chosen for it by the interpreters, the research will also address the intended meaning of the word (formula) and shed light on the most prominent formulas for directing the sayings of the interpreters according to Ibn Ashour from the theoretical and practical point of view.

His most frequently used formulas are (Wa Al-Wajhu anna), then (Wa wajhu thaleka) and the least of it is the formula (Wa wajhu anna), and I will follow in the research the applied inductive method to achieve the objectives of the study.
