The most important issues that the innovators tried to employ to serve their beliefs is the metaphor theory; For this reason, scholars have been interested in this matter, and several schools of thought have emerged for scholars in it, because talking about metaphor requires a sufficient amount of awareness and understanding and to clarify its dangerous consequences for the legal texts, such as distracting the legal texts from their apparent meaning, or disabling them from their meanings and contents.

These terms are forbidden, so this research came to clarify the opinion of Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him, and his position on the metaphor.
