English Abstract

Study aim : This study aimed at identifying the practicing degree of servant leadership by Secondary School Principals in Gaza Governorates and its relation with the organizational trust, among their teachers.

It also aimed at finding out the significance of teachers' mean scores differences concerning this practicing degree of servant leadership by their principals attributable to the study variables (sex, academic qualification, and years of services).

Study methodology : To achieve the study objectives, the researcher adopted the descriptiveanalytical approach.

Study tools: The researcher used two questionnaires.

The first one was to measure the practicing degree of servant leadership by Secondary School Principals in Gaza Governorates that consisted of four domains.

The second one was to measure the level of organizational confidence, among their teachers.

Study population and sample: The study population consisted of all male and female teachers working within Secondary Schools in Gaza Governorates with total number of (4829) teachers.

The study sample consisted of (450) teachers selected using stratified random sampling method.

The most important results of the study : 1.

The practicing degree of servant leadership by Secondary School Principals in Gaza Governorates was high with a relative weight of (80.51%).

The degree of of organizational confidence among the investigated teachers is considerably high with a relative weight of (%72.61).

3.

There were a statistically significant and positive correlative relation at the level of (α≥0.05) between the mean scores of sample respondents concerning the practicing degree of servant leadership by Secondary School Principals and their mean scores of organizational confidence level equaling to (0.730) The most important recommendations of the study : 1.

Organizing training courses for educational leaders about the concept of servant leadership, its significance, related practices, and its role in increasing organizational confidence among teachers.

2.

Expanding the scope of teacher's participation in planning and decision making as well as paying attention to their opinions and requests.

3.

Activating community participation in order get benefit of all members of the local community.
