The present study examines the level of semantic organization in deaf pupils.

it highlights the differences between them and normal pupils.

a sample of ten deaf pupils with cochlear implants integrated with normal pupils is compared to ten normal pupils from a normal school.

to realize the objectives of the study, Gasimi Amel semantic memory test is employed.

the findings show that the level of semantic organization in deaf pupils with cochlear implants is low in comparison to normal pupils, and that there are statistically significant differences between both groups in the level of semantic organization that favor normal pupils.
