يعد الفحص الجيني وسيلة للكشف عن بعض الأمراض الوراثية التي قد تنتقل إلى الجنين.
و تهدف دراسة هذا الموضوع إلى إبراز أهمية هذا الفحص الجيني قبل و بعد الحمل، في حماية الجنين، من خلال التشخيص المبكر للأمراض الوراثية و علاجها.
لكن يبقى العلاج الجيني غير شامل لجميع هذه الأمراض، نظرا لكثرتها و تعذر الكشف عليها جميعها بالفحص الجيني، غير أنه تبقى إمكانية حماية الجنين من الإصابة بالأمراض التي يحملها الأبوين و يعلمان بها.
كما حاول المشرع الجزائري مسايرة هذا التطور الطبي من خلال تنظيمه لهذه التقنية الطبية قانونا
Abstract EN
Genetic testing is a way to detect some genetic diseases that may be passed on to the fetus.
The study of this topic aims to highlight the importance of this genetic examination before and after pregnancy, in protecting the fetus, through early diagnosis and treatment of genetic diseases.
However, gene therapy is not comprehensive for all these diseases, given their abundance and it is not possible to detect all of them by genetic testing, but it is possible to protect the fetus from diseases that the parents carry and are aware of.
The Algerian legislator also tried to keep pace with this medical development by legally regulating this medical technology.

Les tests génétiques sont un moyen de détecter certaines maladies génétiques qui peuvent être transmises au foetus.
L'étude de ce sujet vise à mettre en évidence l'importance de cet examen génétique avant et après la grossesse, dans la protection du foetus, par le diagnostic précoce et le traitement des maladies génétiques.
Cependant, la thérapie génique reste incomplète pour toutes ces maladies, compte tenu de leur abondance et il n'est pas possible de toutes les détecter par des tests génétiques, mais il est possible de protéger le foetus des maladies dont les parents sont porteurs et dont ils ont connaissance.
Le législateur algérien a également tenté d'accompagner cette évolution médicale en réglementant légalement cette technologie médicale.
