Abstract EN

The twentieth century is the starting point of tourism, while the twenty-first century is the century of the tourism industry in its modern sense.

Domestic tourism is also a tributary of the local economy and a booster of national output and income.

It is also a way to learn about the customs and traditions of each region of the country.

It is also considered a means of entertainment and a change in the psyche of individuals.

Indeed, many psychologists advise those exposed to stress and depression to travel until It changes its psyche, whatever the type of tourism.

Cultural tourism is a type of internal tourism, as there are many characteristics that control it and give it an advantage compared to the rest of the types of tourism, which vary between archaeological sites, historical monuments and museums, or take a religious character even cultural and artistic events such as celebrations and festivals.

From this point of view, this study aimed to identify the perceptions of students of psychology and education sciences about internal cultural tourism in Algeria and the mechanisms for its development.

By adopting the descriptive approach on a random sample, consisting of (225) male and female students from the University of Bouira, the questionnaire and the group interview were used as a tool for data collection.

Among the most important results reached: that the majority of students of psychology and educational sciences are characterized by their perceptions of the inferiority (negative) view of the internal cultural tourism in Algeria.
