Abstract EN

The following article represents a study that examines deeply the coarticulatory effects (vocal context) that different vowels have on syllables and its timing.

A physical analysis was applied on quranic texts.

Surat Al-qiyamah was chosen for this study as it contains a wide range and variety of syllables and sounds that appear clearly in the two modes of Quran recitation hadr (rapid reading) and tadweer (It is a moderate reading.
