Abstract EN

This study seeks to provide a History of Tlemcen school (Madersa) through the data including the historical dimension of Tlemcen city and how it was chosen to be the center to publish the Idea of merging the Islamic elites among all Algerian West cities.

The school of Tlemcen was also discussed in terms of its origin, system, qualities and main goals.

The third French republic seeks to make the school an alternate weapon of power and collision with Algerians and a pick to fill Algerians minds with the greatness of France.

So we focused secondly on the school main teachers, managers, steps and the repairs that it has been through and the services that it presented to the colonial administration.

We try in this study to answer the probelm: The role of colonialism in trying to implement the policy of Merging by employing Islamic elites in its favour.
