Abstract EN

Through this paper, we will seek to highlight the two-way influence of Arabic and Tamazight in places' names in the Aures region by highlighting language interference between these languages concerning places' names in this region.

The process began with data collection through field research where we collected places' names and then analyzed, we conducted an analytical study of some of the places' names where language interference occurred.

We conclude at the end that this interference has touched the morphological, phonological, and structural aspects of some terms, where there is a double effect between the two languages.

Some Amazigh names of places have taken the form and morphology of Arabic names, while some Arabic names of places have taken the form and morphology of Amazigh names.
