Abstract EN

This filed study aims to know the change that occured on the form of the social relations among residents in the new Adrari districts as a result of living in the modern dwellings in the urban area.

the sample in this study is the residents of the district of al-Wiaam, in the new city of Shaykh Sidi Muhammad Belekbir.

interviews were carried out with the responsibles of the families living in this district.

the study concluded that the social relations in general and the neighbourhood relations in particular suffered a kind of apathy and regression because of the housing design and the surface of the district.
