The aim of this article is to know the direction of the relation that exists between the international tourist arrivals and the international air passengers in the world.
The adopted approach is based on the analysis of the relationship between the number of international tourist arrivals and international air passenger at the global level, followed by the study of the causality between these two variables.
The results of the causality test, during the period 1990-2019, showed that the causal relationship between international tourist arrivals and the international air passengers in the world is two-way (Feedback).

L'objectif de cet article est de connaitre le sens de la relation qui existe entre les arrivées touristiques internationales et les passagers aériens internationaux au niveau mondial.
La démarche adoptée repose sur l'analyse de la relation entre le nombre d'arrivées de touristes internationaux et le transport aérien international au niveau mondial suivie de l'étude de la causalité entre ces deux variables.
Les résultats du test de causalité, durant la période 1990-2019, ont montré que la relation de causalité entre les arrivées touristiques internationales et les passagers aériens internationaux dans le monde est à double sens.
