The scientific material coming to the Arab culture varied from various western scientific and cognitive sources, and it was necessary to find a solution and a platform to transfer this knowledge into the Arabic language.

this knowledge crisis was the cause of the birth of what are known as Arab academies and bodies, such as the Algerian academy of the Arabic language, the Iraqi scientific academy, the union of Arab linguistic academies, and the rap project for translation and Arabization, whose first goal was to ensure the reception of all that is new in various scientific and literary fields, and to find ways to formulate and integrate it into the Arab culture, so there were many ways of transferring this knowledge, chief among them was translation.
