Abstract EN

The study dealt with administrative corruption: its forms, causes and remedies; a study applied to the (70) senior and middle managers of the main commercial banks in Benghazi City to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive approach was followed using a comprehensive survey method; a questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection; and a statistical analysis program me (SPSS) for data analysis, The study found a series of findings, the most important of which was that administrative corruption was widespread at a high level, the most common of which was behavioral corruption, followed by criminal corruption, regulatory corruption and financial corruption, and that the main causes of administrative corruption were political, followed by administrative, legal, social and cultural causes, It was found that the fight against administrative corruption was most hampered by the experience of stakeholders in enticing and corrupting staff in innovative ways, and then by the spread of a culture of tolerance for corruption and spoilers, Finally, the study recommended that the role of the judiciary should be strengthened and activated, as well as attention to improving salaries, bonuses and allowances.
