: The desert atlas series has known human stability since ancient times, which is shown by the sites and stations of rock art with its various scenes, including what embodied a historical picture of the life and environment of a prehistoric human being that age of the region, and from these stations we find those scattered in the territory of the state of Agawat, when we talk about a historical area where the human and human presence dates back to the distant times of time dating back to the periods of pre-history and the dawn of history, and the physical archaeological evidence that scatters on the soil of this state for the best evidence.

These include scenes and stations of rock art, and the Agawat region alone is filled with more than 30 rock-painting stations distributed in several municipalities such as Tajmut, Sidi Makhlouf, Taweyala and Gaisha, which are considered as a natural museum of rock carvings and many more.

Our study aims to identify part of the prehistoric history of Agouat State by addressing the cultural manifestations of the region through rock art, trying to highlight the role of the material legacy of Agouat in writing Algeria's ancient history.
