But this is a historical mistake.

The poem was born in 1931 and gained its historical position after thirteen years through the important historical and national event, which is the Federal Scout Conference in which the best young people of the Algerian nation met with active national personalities and have a great thought and political influence on the Algerians, and at a critical time - World War II - and circumstances The difficult socio-economic suffered by the Algerians, amid these events, was the birth of the poem in July 1944 in Tlemcen.

This anthem greatly disturbed the French colonial authorities, who described them as provocative and recommended their security authorities to prevent their recurrence from people's ears, but the French authorities were unable to stop the spread and repeat it in the tongues of the Algerian people, especially its youth, because they were carrying a precious desire for them which is freedom and independence, this Desire, which embodied its first milestones on the night of the start in November 1954, by young men with limited abilities, but armed with the will and determination of one of two goals, either victory or martyrdom.
