The electronic commerce in Algeria has experienced a significant evolution thanks to the rise of the Internet and the adoption of the law 18/05 (May 2, 2018) on its legalization, so the, electronic payment (e-payment ) - its main component - must follow this evolution.
The objective of this study is to diagnose the effective use of e-payment in Algeria, since the launch of the first inter-bank transaction on October 04, 2016 to date, as well as its evolution, while trying to highlight the nature of the various brakes that slow down its development, and thus establish the conditions for success of the e-payment system, by adopting a descriptive analytical approach of the data collected, from the actors concerned.

Le commerce électronique en Algérie a connu une évolution conséquante grâce à l’essor de l’'Internet et l’adoption de la loi 18/05 (2 Mai 2018) sur sa légalisation, de ce fait, le paiement éléctronique (e-payment) - sa principale composante- doit suivre cette évolution .
L’objectif de cette étude est de diagnostiquer l’utilisation éffective du e-payment en Algérie, depuis le lancement de la première transaction interbancaire le 04 Octobre 2016 à ce jour,ainsi que son évolution, tout en essayant de souligner la nature des différents freins qui ralentissent son développement, et d'établirainsi les conditions de réussite du système e-payment , en adoptant uneapproche descriptive analytique des donnéescollectées, auprès des acteurs concernés.
